Closing Title Exceptions
From Eagle 9 policies to Deed in Lieu title policies, we will explore examples of title issues we identify and resolve before auction or closing. Title clearance is required for a property to be considered marketable but this may come from a series of sources when foreclosure is involved. We will discuss judicial remedies, the role of title policies from origination, as well as strict foreclosure as tools to clear title for closing.
